I am a USA citizen. I am considering studying medicine in Romania. Any one who have studied medicine in a Romanian Medical School or is studying there now, to please shed some light on your experience of Romania, life styles etc. living conditions, people, safety etc, and most importantly the Medical Schools and the education standard? How difficult or easy is it to get a residency program in a USA hospital? I would like to know it all, the good and the bad stuff, and what to look for? How easy or difficult is it to get an approval letter from the Ministry of Education? How to and which school to apply in Romania, for an English Language program? Please name a few good Medical Schools in Romania? Has corruption affected your education in Romania? Thanks.
