Those who matched prelim

I was hoping that people who matched into prelim could tell me what the NRMP web site stated when they matched. "congratulations you matched into ONE year program" or congratulations you matched. I ranked categorical spots and prelim spots and suspense is killing me. So please let me know.

match

I am pretty sure NRMP only tells you "Confratulations! You matched" whether its prelim or categorical and thats it. I know its killing you but one more day.

All mine stated was congrates, you matched with no mention of prelim or catergorical. I read in forum that one of the applicants response stated that he was accepted for one year match. I dont know how legid that is.

email

the message will say

congrats, you've matched

or

congrats, you've matched into a one year program.

if it says -congrats, you've matched, then you've matched for your prelim year and specialty, eg, transitional and radiology.

if it says - congrat's you've matched into a one year program, then, you only got the transitional and not the radiology, for example.

ya thats right ..
because if u only matched into a prelim spot.. or if u matched advanced and not prelim.. they differentiate it because u would need to scramble for either a prelim or advanced spot....

I ranked three year categorical spots and prelim spots which I ranked as my back up. NRMP stated "congrates you matched" meaning I got into one of the catergorical spots. Is that right? Guess I find out tommorow.
