Fellowships after IM
So I was searching on this site and dint find anythin quite informitive about fellowships:
My question is about fellowships after IM: So what are the factors for getting a fellowship after IM? So FMG's get them easily, or does the fact that they r FMG's come into play again( I am a canadian citizen). Can anyone talk about the number of yrs of fellowship after residency for each speciality and the competitivness? Anythin else anybody knws will be helpful. Thanks. |

fellows
search the Ross forum, i posted a whole list of precentages of IMGs in each specialty not too long ago. most fellowships are 3 years, excetp geriatrics is 1 year,a nd interventional cards is 1 year after the 3 of cards. I am currently applying for heme/onc. I am a US citizen, but a Ross grad. still a little early to tell for me. but if you search the topic, i think itwas titled FMG stats or soemthing like that.
