sorry for the delayed reply, but i have been busy (with residency)

there are no true requirements for radiology. once you make the step score cutoffs ie 230s as an IMG, it is really all about the interview, and they specifically want a good personality that they can interact with for the next four years in relatively close quarters. research will always help, but is not required. get to know the program director and coordinator via e-mails and in person visits if possible. make then remember your face and name as it will help during the ranking process.

nothing is a guarantee! i made two 'second visits' and did not match at either of those places.

bottom line.... score very high, be very likable and hard working. once you have those behind you, things will fall in place.
