(okay I searched through my email quickly to list the dates....didnt find all 23 dates but most were in Oct. As you can see I had a steady stream of invites in October, then 1 in November and 1 in January)

Got a phone call from an awesome program recently! Offered me a spot to interview!.

Waitlisted: 2 - Wake Forest, Institute of Living/Hartford Hospital

Rejections (List where rejections are from)
8 - Medical College of GA, Bergen Regional, Vanderbilt, Univ of Arizona, St. Lukes Roosevelt. few more in late december/January...George washington, Columbia (Why did I even apply here!!!? lol), Case Western. Haven't heard a peep from most of my programs.

    Hope everyone is doing well!
i never came back and updated on match day! I matched into a great university psych program...unfortunately it wasn't one of my top choices. At first I was upset that i didn't get my top choice, but honestly I'm grateful to have matched considering many of my friends did not. It's still a great program and I know I will do well there. I've already communicated with some of my co-interns (The PC sent us all an email) and everyone is so friendly and helpful so far. I've already started looking for housing...getting super excited about residency! We survived not getting into a US medical school, then moving to a foreign island for 2 years....then back for clinicals, Step exams, interviews...I think we can handle anything!

After talking to a lot of people, it seems that most people didn't get their top choice or even their preferred specialty. That's why I think it's important that as future applicants go through the process, they keep an open mind and really try to see the positives in every program they rank. I had my sights set on a few programs as I went through the process but now I'm realizing that not everyone will get their top choice. The match is definitely a humbling process!

Congrats to everyone who matched. I wouldn't have been able to do it without all the valuable advice from this forum.

Not sure what brought me back to this forum after such a long time! But thank you

I actually matched in GI last December too. So. Well. That's that.

All I remember is them saying that going to SGU will end up being the worst decision I'd ever make.

    So. Well. That's that!
