    Interview Timing

I'm scheduling electives and I was wondering how to work it around interview time.

Do most students schedule breaks in their electives schedule to allow for interviews? If so when/ how long?

When do most of the interviews happen? (Nov/Dec, Dec/Jan)?

Have most people found attendings to be forgiving of needing to travel to interview?

    Thanks in advance!

Rotated with 4th yrs a few mths ago, and attending was aware of the importance of IVs, and every other day one student was out for an IV. Most attendings kinda see electives in 4th year as your down time, and arent anal from what I see, especially since the student is pretty much close to being done.
