This is a proposal to build a new list. YOU WORK FOR YOUR OWN LIST!!!

I'm starting to build database for program lists. I need 20 people to start for each specialty (20 for IM, 20 for F Ps etc) to build the list. This is a SELF-HELP project, if you don't submit your work, you won't get the list.

This is how it works:
Z 20 members on each project contacting (calling, emailing, visiting or whatever) 10 program each to solicit information about their programs and requirements. I already build a questions template. I will designate which people contacting which programs; For a start, I suggest this following states: CT, IL, IN, MD, MI, NJ, NY, OH & PA. IntMed is about 186 programs. Other specialties may have different number, but we can discussed it later after checking on FREIDA
Z Member finishing their work and keep the work for his/herself UNTIL certain due date. I will invite these 20 members to join specific groups for exchanging files. No other people will be invited.
Z Each member will verify other member's work (by sending the file to one member on the list) and send CONFIRMATION of COMPLETED WORK to me. If I don’t get the confirmation for certain member, I will TAKE OUT his/her from the group membership. By this way he/she will not get the complete (200 programs) list. Then confirmed people will send other people list (sent to him/her for confirmation) to the group for final exchange. This confirmation system will validate other peoples work (prevent non working members to receive the file) and guarantee file swapping/eliminate non compliance (one member’s work is already on other member’s hand for final delivery).
Z If this system does not work, you DON’T HAVE ANYTHING TO LOOSE, and you keep your own list. Nobody have possessions of complete list until final files exchange on the groups.

If I don’t have 20 people to start, I might cancel the project because there won’t be enough programs to share and we only competing to each other for the same spot. Once your receive your list, you can do whatever you want with the list, but before you share it, remember it will only increase the competition for the same spot.

I might allow more people to join or let people to join on later date to increase the content of the database. The existing member will have access to the future submitted list and the new member will have access to the existing (partial/full) list submitted earlier. These lists are not copyrighted. Feel free to help other people in needs, with consideration to other members!!!

I need people with COMMITMENT to build the list. No “me, too” people considered. Make sure you have phone & internet access, word (& might be excel) program. Here is how to start: seen an email to img_xyz@yahoo.com. Read carefully: REPLACE xyz with:

intmed
psych
obstetrics
pedicatrics
f p (no space)

whichever you want to join. I will reply with your membership# and list to contact. Then we can start to work.

Those who interested please send email to the appropiate address. I need to confirm your email address as well. Don't just reply to this thread, send me an email!!

What is your problem? Please read the posting carefully.

I don't even verify other member's work; I just need CONFIRMATION of work (NOT the work itself) from a member that review other member work. By this way, a member will have his/her own work and ONE other member's work. Assuming 20 people participating, that is 5% of own work and 5% of other people's work, in case you cannot count. This also prevent a member for not submitting his/her work. Got it?
