    GI

    Hi

You can choose how intense your practice will be. Either cardiology or GI can have very busy practices, but you may opt to have an easier lifestyle if you want. Both specialties have also a lot of procedures, so income is good in both areas.

    exactly

Yes, you can choose how busy you are. Each has the potential to be very busy. If you do interventional cards, you will get called out at all hours to do angioplasties etc. If you are a GI guy, the midnight GI bleeder may bring you in. How busy you are would depend on practice situation. Large group of docs, size of the hospital you go to etc. Income should be great for both. G
