Matching W/only Pre-med and NO undergraduate degree

Can someone who matched into a U.S. residency only having some undergrad like 60 credits or went to a pre-med program located on the island post there experience if they gained a residency and what about permenant licensure. I am pertaining to Carribean Schools. As many states require 60-90 Undergrad Credits for Licensure. Has anyone made it to Residency with out holding a Undergrad Degree or Certain Courses that are typically required in U.S. model Medical schools such as Physics or Chemistrys. Please post your experiences or story. Thank You it will be greatly appreciated any input. As i am applying to the Match and I dont have a completed undergrad i just have 60credits and most courses are biology but i do not have the chemistrys or physics. Thanks

    no problem

you won't have any problems getting residency............

you won't be able to practice in states that need 90 credits in undergrad, and instead of posting on valuemd...........why don't you actually go and call state medical boards and speak to someone........you'll get a lot further.........

and if you have everything done........why didn't you go for residency this year?

you might want to take some more credits or finish a degree, even if its only online. I just filled out applications for my permanent license in several states and they required either 90 credits or a full bachelors.

    Bachelor of Science

    Try:
    www.excelsior.edu

they let you challenge hundreds of courses. heck the GRE graduate record exam allows you to earn up to 30 credits in one take and they are regionally accredited.

dude honestly, since you're in med school now, i would advise you to contact nj's board if and when you get into residency and apply for licensure.

as of now, if you still want to do something about it now so you don't have problems later on, i would contact and speak to dr. o on the nj board of medical examiners........he will break it down for you........good luck

and furthermore, things can change between NOW and WHEN YOU APPLY for a license.............

i went to a school that does NOT have 50 state approval, i cannot practice in about 13-14 states as of right now. and guess what? by the time i finish residency and apply for a full license, THAT NUMBER MIGHT INCREASE TO ~20 or more states........and i know that. these are the consequences of me not going to a top 4 carib school.........and i am fully aware of that.

things can change at any time, i wouldn't be super obsessed with any state, because anything can change, this year, next year, or 5 years from now when you go for residency.........
