low scores and interviews

i would like to start this thread for people with low scores(below 80). i want to know if any of you are getting interview invites. i am real nervous...got only 2 interviews so far in FM. anybody else...?

My step 1 score is below 80, and I have 2 IV's one in IM Second in FM.

Yea i am pretty much in same situation. I have 3 iv for IM. Applied to 170+ programs, mostly IM with only 40 FM. Still waiting for more....need at least 8....keeping fingers crossed!!!

Also it depends what year of graduation. Not the same low scores recent graduated than low scores old graduated.
So please also comment if you are +5 years of graduation, less than 5 years of graduation and recently graduated.

So it can bring some light to some people.

i got 2 interviews in FM, low scores, graduated in 2008 so i'm a recent graduate. u guys think that more interview invites will be on the way? i applied sept 1, to 160 programs TOTAL (FM AND IM). i AM SCARED CAUSE ITS NOVEMBER ALREADY

It's not impossible. What's important is that if it gets to Dec and you don't have many interviews you need to PERSONALLY contact each program that hasn't replied back yet. Email and CALL THEM. This is how I got the interview that got me my residency spot. My grades were horrible, but I got a spot (and at a good hospital at that...), so you can do it too. Just make getting your residency position your full time job from now on. Don't let ANYONE discourage you, and PRAY PRAY PRAY!!
