Adding insult to injury: A rejection from a program that had already rejected me from the very begining. I guess they wanted to make sure I knew that they really don't want me

In retrospect, after reading the title of the email "application status", I knew what that meant so I cleared my throat and clicked on that email thinking of all the possible programs that don't want me...well, what a surprise...its like a g/f or b/f who called you after the breakup to breakup with you again. Yes, it is KIND OF funny. On the bright side, there are programs that don't even bother to let you know of your status...I am licking my wound here...
