Interview offers

Our members don't see this ad.
I was hoping to start a thread that only lists:
(1) date applied
(2) date of interview offers
(3) specialty
(4) school

Whatever you feel comfortable listing. This is to give a general idea to fellow IMGs who are also trying to apply for the 2010 residency match. Thanks

(1) applied on Sept 1, but my third letter wasn't scanned until today . Applied to 12 programs only, since I am limited to a geographical area.
(2) No interviews(and freaking out) but no rejections either.
(3) Internal med, family and emergency medicine.
(4) Ross university.

Graig is on a distinguished road
Applied: Sept. 1 to 30 programs, though 2 LORs just got uploaded 9/10
Interview offers: 1 on 9/8, no rejections...yet
Specialty: Psych
School: MUA
Stats: 205/84 on Step 1 (1st try), Pass on CS (1st try), took CK Sept. 1

I'm wondering whether or not I should apply to more programs. I think I'll wait and see how many interviews I can get, I'm shooting for 10, but if I don't have more this next week I'll probably apply to more programs, not sure.

Best of luck to everyone.

rokshana will become famous soon enoughrokshana will become famous soon enough
really??? the number of programs ya'll have applied to are so small...are you really that confident in getting enough interviews for your ROL??

the people i knew with avg to below avg step scores applied to 100-200 programs and had a 10-15 % invite return

i was a pretty competitive applicant and i applied to 60 some programs and had a approx 30% return.

12- did you leave a zero off or are you seriously that competitive???

take the prematch..
but i think you would have to have step 3 in before ROL to get the visa sponsor right? you're still to take CS.
I could be wrong, but look into it. I think this is the case.
