This is what you have to do

Block those 99 ers from the list of your friends and contacts for the following reasons

1. they have no idea what they are talking about
2. they are misleading you
3. they are harming you phsychologically
4. not all 99 ers match, and some with mid 80's match
5. matching is proof that you are smart and also a people persone not a worm book
6. they are destroying your dreams even before you start to sleep (figurative)

Try hard, always do your best!

I am not a 99 er
I start learning english when doing the steps
I have more than 10 years from med school
I have no US clinical experience
I have 7 years gaps with no medicine
I have 3 children, a husband and 2 grandpas to take care
My son was hit by a car while doing step 2 ck and was in intensive care for subdural hematoma
My daughter was bullied and hit several times at school for ratial discrimination
I have been in a law suit durign my steps protecting my daughter for more abuse

I prematch! i Got several prematches, indeed.
I am starting residence in a month

Very nice, and the 99'er stuff is true as well (I totally agree that not everyone who posts getting scores like that are being truthful).

Congratulations on the prematch, and my condolences to the OP regarding family troubles, which nobody should have to endure.

And now for mister raincloud...... There is no 'secret society of "99'ers" out to ruin dreams and crush spirits, and if hearing the stories of people who matched successfully by working hard and achieving good scores upsets you, then you need to reevaluate. None of my "99er" colleagues were 'worm books' - rather, they were bright people able to budget time well. Sorry, I just get frustrated by the Underachiever Fallacy perpetuated on this board; that there is somehow an inverse relationship between USMLE performance and medical aptitude or personal skills.

Wonderful post! I witnessed this too that 99 haven't matched and those who just passed were even offered pre-matches. Great job!
