In addition to the Caribbean schools, I am also looking into the possibility of attending the ones in the Philippines. I've worked with several physicians these past couple years who have graduated from there and are attempting to obtain residency positions here. They are not US citizens, so it is a bit challenging for them, but they do swear by their education.
Before charging forward and committing myself wholeheartedly to this venture, I wanted to make sure that graduates from these schools (who are US Citizens) are obtaining matches--especially in California (thankfully, the Medical Board of CA does recognize and approve of several schools from there). Any comments and advice would be greatly appreciated!
