Some hospitals say you can start in aother time that is not the tipical time, but then they say you need to go tru the nrmp or be in the match. Now how can you get inn if the match if the match will be close till next year? Why you need to go to the match, if you can start in another time? I hope It make sense what I just wrotte.

Some of the places I interviewed at had people that started off cycle, usually because someone had left, or rarely because someone had left during the year.
I have been told that in order to secure such a spot, one needs to call hospitals and see if they have a spot available. I am not sure if this is accurate though. Hope it helps. |
