I know to be on the trauma team you have to be a trauma surgeon. So my question is what one do you think is easier to become, an orthopedic surgeon or a cardiovascular surgeon? My guess would be that it's easier to become a cardiovascular surgeon because you have to get into a general surgery residency first and then do a cardiovascular fellowship, as apposed to orthopedic surgeon, that has to get straight into an orthopedic surgeon residency.

Any ideas or thoughts on this would be great.. I eventually want to be on a trauma team.
