I don't understand why people are knocking on the OT for asking which specialties are high paying. We end up working our butts off to earn a costly degree, why shouldn't we get paid for it. In the end, we're still helping people.

On Choosing a specialty
When I was in my 4th year of medical school, I chose my specialty solely on the basis of interest, talent and lifestyle......Pay was not an issue......Some GPs are earning more than surgeons........if you are a business MD chances are you will earn more.......choose your specialty based on passion not $$$ CAP !!! Good Luck !
