Ya but you see, Muthea and I have discussed this. Old is not bad. We prefer Jean Luke to Don Knotts - which do you favor? How old are you?

OH, my goodness, first the "Thread Hookups" thread, now here! You guys are just determined to set me up with someone! *blushing* You're worse than my best friend in high school... we used to call her "Yenta" (after the matchmaker in "Fiddler on the Roof"). Got any remedies for my burning cheeks?

Eh, 53's not really too old. But girlfriend means off limits Lucky girl, I might add.

I have heard of poisonous spiders, especially the brown recluse, which I think may live in the Caribbean. There are no poisonous spiders in Maine, thankfully. No poisonous snakes either.

Spiders are wonderful! Even if you don't like insects, you should like spiders, they eat other bugs! And spider webs are beautiful works of engineering.

Darn. I try. I am an incurable cupid, but all my single friends tell me they like that. I just like to see people happy. And besides - you are such a cool chick, it's too bad my brothers are all married off now.

I had a recent debate with my 8 year old son - are Brown Recluses (sp?)present in the Caribbean? I had the impression they were strictly a cold weather spider and preferred the midwest states. Any input?

We have them in Maryland. I have seen a few people with Brown Recluse bites. They are ugly. I also have found one in my house. G
