I used to only drink diet soda-- actually, almost exclusively diet coke. But the artificial sweeteners started causing weird things, like severe panic attacks, migraine headaches, and mood swings (well, I should say, at the time, *more severe* mood swings.... teenager). So my physician suggested I try to quit drinking diet sodas, and within three weeks of stopping, the symptoms went away. But I was craving diet soda severely. Now I only have it every once in a while. I've switched over to tea.

As for beer, my little brother likes blueberry beer. Never tried it myself. I prefer the sweet drinks that don't taste like alcohol, like smirnoff ice/twisted, pina coladas, etc. One drink and I'm pretty buzzed anyway. Major lightweight.
You would LOVE Berrywiezen.

Maybe it was the caffeine. Your body probably couldn't handle all that caffeine, what between your chocolate, tea, and diet soda.

I am a caffeine-aholic, but I know when I've had too much. I am down to one a day.

Could be. I usually forget that chocolate has caffeine. Maybe I'm in denial! I know that the tea I drink has less caffeine than the soda I had been drinking, and it has way less sugar or sweetener per serving than soda. I've also discovered Red Tea, or roiboss, which has zero caffeine, and is reported to have 3 times the antioxidants of green tea (which I think tastes like grass). It's pretty good, especially the flavoured kind. And when I'm sick, drinking green tea, white tea or red tea usually helps me to feel better. Could be psychosomatic, not sure. Hey, whatever works, right?

Mmmmmmm......tea........

Then why the heck does everyone here speak Spanish????!!! I mean, whew, I'll get spoken Spanish to before I get English.

I mean, it's great that everyone knows their language, but whew I just can't catch on.

it's a hot topic now...

should immigrants have to pay for english lessons, to be able to adapt to USA society?

what do you all think?
