The Poles are pretty easy to conquer. OH, you meant the language. No idea.

Islandwife, I've heard a lot of good reviews about "Paddy's Lament", I'll definitely have to check that out. But one of my New Year's resolutions was to finish all the books I'm currently reading before I start another one. I consistently have bookmarks in at least four books at a time, which makes for a long time finishing any of them. Plus I have so many books on my bookshelf that I haven't read yet, and way more on my wishlist! Ah, the troubles of being a reader.....

I don't think I'd mind eating horse. I've eaten pigs' feet, rabbits, cow's tongue, venison, moose, and plenty of bugs. Food is food. Horse is eaten in Sweden, and I'm one-eighth Swedish.
