I heard of Needhams...Never tried them though. I remember before leaving Maine having to go to LL Bean in Freeport to rack up in all the various chocolate covered fruit...Cranberries, blueberries, cherries, etc. I miss Maine...I don't like NY. Streets are full of pot holes and nasty hobbitses.

Well, Maine has its pros and cons.
Pros:
No poisonous snakes
No poisonous spiders
Very mild summers
Wild blueberries
Apples
Lobster (if you like lobster)
Maple sugar/syrup
Snow sports
Quiet
Yard Sales
Bean Suppers

Cons:
Harsh winters
Potholes/frost heaves
Lack of variety (in everything: culture, food, thought)
High taxes
Few musicians have concerts here
Bean Suppers

I think for me the pros outweigh the cons. I never saw bigger potholes than the ones I saw in NYC. Feels like an earthquake hit the city twice.

Yeah. And if you think there is a lack of variety in food here, just wait till you get to the islands...

Hey I loved eating breadfruit, tuna, and chicken 3 times a day and 7 days a week. I wouldn't have it any other way...but honestly I miss the breadfruit.

Yeah, around here people are pretty meat-and-potatoes. I can actually remember distinctly when we first got salsa verde, jalepenos, and hominy (each years apart) at the grocery store. Most of them have never heard of cayenne pepper. They put ketchup on tacos.

Loved those Quenepas, mangoes, bakes, and Addison's juice bar in Dominica! One thing I won't miss are those shack attacks!
