I would have voted for Reggie, but somehow I just cannot ever see myself voting for BUSH!

Although I really think Young or Bush could have been named the best college football player, I do think Reggie Bush is the best pure football player out there. Although, I do think Vince Young is the best pure athlete in the country. I think they'll be playmakers in the NFL either way.

I really don't think they should be compared...Reggie Bush has only one thing going for him, and that is his running ability...he can change direction really well and dodge better then most people. Now lets compare Vince Young, the guy can run with almost the same speed as reggie bush, vince young can accelerate just as fast if not faster for those 10-15 yard gains that make vince youngs plays seem freaky, as he takes 2 or 3 steps on each play and Texas gains 12 yards on the play, etc. Vince young is the MOST effiecient college quarterback in the NCAA and one of the most efficient QB in college footballs history. He has amazing throwing skills, he changes direction better then most 5'8" guys. He can take hits and isnt afraid to run the ball at all, nor is he afraid to throw the ball for a few hundred yards a game...the guy has over 400 yards of offense in MULTIPLE games. I really dont see a comparison between these three guys...leinart has no ability other then passing...he never runs, and is scared to run, he is slow, can't take hits...he isnt in the running between bush and young. I think young proved beyond a doubt who can carry a team and who is the best player in college football...only problem is the heisman comes out before the national championship...i think VY would have definately recieved the heisman had they seen the rosebowl. That last 4th and 9 was freakin amazing! I still can't believe he did that. Imagine if VY had stayed at UT for another year...I think the massive domination over the rest of the NCAA would have made for a very memorable season...I'm talking a season with multiple 600+ offensive yard games for VY...that would be amazing to see.

Young - by far the best all round....
