hey all, wondering if it is possible to pass usmle step 1 if you are mainly a memorizer? because that's what i do mostly: memorize and regurgitate. thanks.

A lot of it is just memorization. Keep in mind, that you will be practicing medicine someday, and really UNDERSTANDING the concepts is imperative. Also,
understanding physiology, anatomy etc. will be necessary in order for you to conceptualize things like murmurs, imaging studies etc. G
