Is there really a White Student Association on campus?

Can people of color join? Who is the president of this club?

    wsa

I wasn't in class when they brought it up but im sure they would allow anyone to join just like the Isa, bsa, dsa or any of the other ones. Is it an issue they started a white student organization?

    yes there is

There is a white student association. Everyone is encouraged to join this club. I do not know who the president is, though names are not allowed on this site anyway. This organization was created because students felt it was only equal for white students to have an organization if Black students and Indian students can also. This organization, I can tell you will be offering some fun activities this semester, so go and join! All are welcome!

    crazy

i think every single ethnicity on campus officially has an association that will represent them. i hope this is the last of them. our little school doesn't need another ethnic club/group/association to divide themselves off from the general body in my opinion.

    interesting

I hope all the members will put their membership affiliation into their residency applications. I would love to see the reaction from the review board.

    I agree

If it were up to me, we would not have any ethnic clubs and more medically oriented clubs... people say that they want less medicine and more other stuff, well that is fine, you can get other things than medicine on your own with friends (kind of like a group anyway) but the SGA should not have all these ethnic groups.. It does nothing but divide students. If it took the formation of a White Student Association to make that a clear point then so be it... but I will say this, as long as there is a BSA and an ISA, there is no reason to exclude the WSA... Now remember that to be a group next semester you will have to abide to many requirements that alot of the groups will not meet. This will drastically cut down the number of groups that we have affiliated with SGA.

    Here is an idea

How about a "Ross student association"? or would that require people to associate too much with each other. I always found it a sad commentary that in days past, segregation was bad, and now some people are forming clubs to continue the bad tradition. yes, all are welcome. But are they really?
