AP Interview: Fugitive hid 40 years in plain sight

AP Interview: Fugitive hid 40 years in plain sight - Yahoo! News

"I didn't shoot that man in the back. That wild kid did. That's not me." Sure, tell that to the judge.

"I never thought I was a parole violator. I was another person. I never looked over my shoulder," he said. "I just forgot about it." ... How convenient!

"To be honest, I didn't even remember the man's name." Most criminals don't.

"But I think it was so wrong he spent so much money getting me here. I feel it is unfair." Unfair. Try this for unfair...there is a dead man that could have said the same, the man he killed.

he invented a whole new life, with a new family, an Arizona wedding chapel business — and even volunteer work for local civic clubs. What a piece of work.

The lesson of the story, you can run, but you can't hide.
"Sacrifice turns to revenge and believe me
You'll see the face who'll say:I love you... I'll kill you...But I'll love you forever

While I agree he did break the law, he also served his time behind bars, no? I would at least consider some leniency.

On an unrelated note, some say I have a heart of gold.
