ideal length for white coat/overall ?
i was just wondering whats the ideal length for an overall/doctor's whote coat ? specially the one we r going to use for the CS exam?
weather it should end at ur knees or above them or below them ? is there any standard or doesnt much matters ? maybe its a bit stupid question but i was kinda curious see ya.

yes, there is a standard!
you were the short coat, until you are a licensed MD in the US. then you get the knee length one when you start residency. believ it or not, MOST MDs will tear you apart if they catch you wearing a longer coat when you are still not an MD(being an MD in another country doesnt count,either. Until you have a license in the USA, you still are NOT considered a doctor!)

Ummm... I guess you can call the "registration" with the boards a "license."
In many states, residents merely "register" with the boards (or the hospital simply submit a list of residents). Until you obtain a full, unrestricted medical license, it's not a "license" per se... more like a "permssion for training." P
