Like I said "it varies with your practice size, and geographical area". I know of an OB/GYN who made Net $450,000 on 03' but the mean is supposed to be $280,000. It all depends.

Thanks for those numbers. Where did you get those....I've had trouble finding good numbers on psychiatry.

Nah, I doubt these computers can produce enough gold pixels to display the AUC logo.

Yes, you do need help. Pride of India tomorrow for Buffet Lunch @ noon. Cya there!

subject

My bro is a med/peds and nets about 240k. He has a private practice in a rural community in Louisiana. He also has an affiliation with the hospital there and has to do rounds every morning before opening his office. He only works Monday-Thursday though and has call every 3rd weekend. Sounds pretty good to me.

He just bought a small string of doctor offices (like a small strip mall center w/ 6-8 offices) and is leasing them out to other MDs. That's seems to be were the REAL money is. Go figure.

LOl

Yep, the point in earning money as an MD is so you can buy real-estate,

Being an MD is just more fulfilling than being an accountant. 8)
