My bro is a med/peds and nets about 240k. He has a private practice in a rural community in Louisiana. He also has an affiliation with the hospital there and has to do rounds every morning before opening his office. He only works Monday-Thursday though and has call every 3rd weekend. Sounds pretty good to me.
He just bought a small string of doctor offices (like a small strip mall center w/ 6-8 offices) and is leasing them out to other MDs. That's seems to be were the REAL money is. Go figure. |

Yep, the point in earning money as an MD is so you can buy real-estate,
Being an MD is just more fulfilling than being an accountant. 8)
