He did say he thought they should turn to God...I know that bothers you, but we're all entitled to our own beliefs (religious and otherwise). His history was a little off, and I'm of the opinion that if you don't have a solid understanding of something, you shouldn't speak on it. BUT I think it's pretty obvious who's at fault in this case....it isn't
PR....it isn't GWB....it isn't BHO....it isn't capitalism....it isn't voodoo or satanic curses.....it's
TYRANNY. Haiti has been governed by dictators since its inception...and so the people there have never been free to prosper. So now they're screwed...they have no infrastructure...no hospitals...no medical providers...no emergency response teams...they're forced to sit and wait for someone to come to their rescue, which I think is heart-breaking. There are injured survivors dying there today because of TYRANNY.
BTW, where's the greatest healthcare system in the world (Cuba) when you need them?
Some valid points about tyranny. Unfortunately, none of these points were brought up by PR.
What he did state was the Haitian "pact to the devil" has "cursed" the people, which includes earthquakes. And that part, you cannot justify.
And feel free to cite any of my 1,400+ posts where I said that turning to God is a bothersome comment. What I did say is following someone who uses hateful rhetoric bothers me, regardless of religion.
PR is a bigot. What is there to argue?
