Article discusses why NPs will replace Physicians
'The most recent Health Resources and Services Administration Sample Survey report from 2004 shows 141,209 Nurse Practitioners in the U.S., an increase of more than 27% over 2000 data. The actual number of nurse practitioners is now greater than 150,000. This number is huge and growing, especially since there are only 300,000 physicians in the U.S.'
