"Muslims" were drinking alcohol at the Cabrits party- what do you think?

I went to Cabrits and the Muslims were all drinking alcohol. For those that don't know alcohol is prohibited in Islam and drinking alcohol is considered a sin. Anyone concerned and want to know what happened at Cabrits pm me.

PS. MitchDC made me edit my original message.

First week of the semester has not gone by, yet you have already disparaged the Indian students and, just now, scorned the Muslims. Keep up the good work!

BTW, what the heck is a scarcasm???

Who gives you the right to judge other people? There's nothing as annoying in this world as a self-righteous religious person, whether that person is christian, muslim, etc.... The only being with the right to judge us is God so I suggestn you leave it to Him.

I will not single out any particular groups, but I myself was disappointed at the actions that some of the students took at the Cabrits party last night. I can't believe that some of these men and women will be future physicians....they acted as if they never saw alcohol, and as if it were a frat party at a college. Some of these people need to realize that their college days are over and it is time to look and act professional.

most of the students who get really wild at parties are first semester students, especially the ones that are right out of college. they come here and think they could carry on with that kind of behavior and still manage to pass and graduate. most of these kids will grow up and tone down after the first semester (some even after the first mini), after they realize they actually have to work for a grade around here. ...it's actually really funny to watch them. it's one way we upperclassmen entertain ourselves around here

Re; the religous condemnation: there's nothing like a little intolerance. Some Muslims are just not Muslims like you are. Some Jews don't accept that the women should be separated from the men in services. Some Christians believe homosexuality is ok. And of all these groups, some attack those who don't worship as they do. Parents, beware of those people.

As for just generalizsed bad behavior- one of two things will happen. they will either grow up fast or they will fail in their endevours at med school. Here's some disappointing news for you all- just because they are doctors-to-be doesnt make them good people. Haven't you seen signs of that on this board already?

And you know what? that's life. Your patients aren't going to be people you always approve of either.

I agree completely. By the way, Iam not insulting anyone. What I stated is 100% fact and I and everyone else saw with our own eyes.

"Muslims" who drink alcohol are not Muslims and shouldn't call themselves Muslims. It is an insult to real Muslims. Like I said no alcohol is one of the rules of Islam, if you don' like it don't call yourself a Muslim. I wonder what the MSA thinks about this? Maybe these alcohol drinkers shouldn't be allowed in the mosque. Afterall, alcohol is haram.

Have you considered that there are, without question, some things that you do (or dont do) that in the views of other Muslims, make you less than a "real Muslim"?

Anyway Ill break bread with any person who is kind and decent.

re

People who drink alcohol and tell everyone that they are Muslim do a great disservice to Islam. They are neither kind nor decent.
