Inside Rev. Hagee's Church

Saw this article yesterday and was entertained from beginning to end:

An Atheist Goes Undercover to Join the Flock of Mad Pastor John Hagee

While I didn't grow up or participate in a purely "charismatic" environment described in the article. I did get to see and experience how what he describes as a "mechanical Christian skin" growing over someone's "normal" self which grows tired of being sane with all the insanity going on around it.

Hagee is a nutball, why would Russia lead an Army comprised of Arab countries? Its illogical. Although comparing the European Union to a reincarnation of the Holy Roman Empire has a lot more logic, since much of European history since the collapse of Rome has been to create an Empire on the scale of Rome. The Holy Roman Empire actually existed for nearly a millennium and its most notable leader was Charlemagne, modern day France, Germany, Poland, Italy, Switzerland, and Austria sprouted from this power. These nations which were briefly in conflict with another are now united. Its also highly plausible that Europe and an Islamic power, most likely Iran will become embroiled in a conflict.

Keep in Mind this is John McCain's so called "spiritual advisor". Of course Obama gets hounded about his reverend, but McCrazy can get advice from any nut.

i also keep in mind that the american populace is nothing if not hypocritical when it comes to the standards that a white man is held to as compared to the standards of a black man or a woman. wright has NOTHING on hagee and his nonsense. the only thing separating them is race... somehow ppl are offended by what wright had to say (which was mostly truth if you ever opened a history book) but might give hagee and mccain a free pass. ridiculous

i just hope the dems are saving this tidbit for the general election. mccain is a hack and a mummy

Favorite line from article (they are sitting around sharing their "wound"s):

"Hello," I said, taking a deep breath. "My name is Matt. My father was an alcoholic circus clown who used to beat me with his oversize shoes."

the 90s were great but don't forget alot of what we were up to overseas caused the animosity and vendettas that led to 9/11 and various bombings. america and the west was certainly happy but the middle east and se asia definitely wasn't.
