Where are you getting your info? OJ was acquitted in the criminal trial. In the civil law suit (a totally different thing, and rules of evidence and discovery and not to mention simple majority of a jury) the G family brought against him he lost and was ordered to pay damages, that is NOT a fine. Who is going to sue Vick? The dogs parents?

Besides, like Tipton says, Vick doesn't seem to be complaining about it, and he is the one in jail...why should anyone else complain?

good, Vick shouldn't be in prison anyway. There are far worse criminal out there roaming the streets who have done greater harm to REAL people.

either way it goes state or federal...you can not tell me dogfighting is worse than bank robberies...yes both are equally wrong, but don't tell me that's justice. Whether its state or federal its laws and it is skewed...10 yrs probation and then 28 months jail time.....nah punishment doesn't fit in my book.
