Woman Steals Baby
this is just sickening. can you imagine being that baby's parents and having this piece of garbage walk out the hospital doors with their newborn. the scary thing is that she was stopped by employees and the parents of another newborn a few moments earlier trying to do the same thing. why wasnt she detained then? this woman needs to be locked up for a minimum of 15+ years in a maximum facility. i have no sympathy for this trash.

Why do people do this sort of thing? I just don't get it. Do they want to hold the baby for randsom from its parents? Or do they just want a child of their own but are infertile and think adoption is too much trouble? Or are they pedophiles and want a young child to sell into the sex industry? I just don't understand what drives people.

update to the story..... just over 24 hours later, the woman is going to get released. UNBELIEVABLE. i can only imagine the outrage that the true parents must feel. i understand she will be wearing a ankle braclet, but let her spend more than one night in jail for that despicable crime.

I want the judge to be 'sentenced' to holding a infant baby, changing her/his diapers, feeding her/him, for at least a year,24/7.Hopefully it will awaken his soul, and he may understand the love that little ones bring to this world.Yeah I am crazy.....

another story relating to kids
There was another story in Florida that was on CNN headline news yesterday.... of a 19-year old woman with a 4 year old son who was only 10 pounds, as the mother didn't feed him. I went back to CNN but didn't find the story on there today... but after looking it up on the internet, I found this article had the most information on the case: Was 10-pound 4-year-old boy 'lost to follow-up'?: Child's weight loss has been documented for two years
It just goes to show that our government needs to go the extra mile to protect against child endangerment. In this story, clinicians failed the child as well. It's really sad how badly children get taken advantage of by adults sometimes.

I still don't believe someone can do this to a new born baby. I read some where about a hospital with strict security for babies. The baby have bracelet that match the parents. If some try to take the baby an alarm is sound. Maybe all the hospitals need something like this.
