They are going to have a hard time finding doctors to work in Australia. I doubt they will meet their expected goals.

If the pay was right I would really consider it. The U.S. has been going downhill for a while now and it will be a long time(if ever) before we recover. Plus, I hear that Australian ladies love American guys.

If the US goes downhill, that will not bode well for Australia which is dependent upon the USA for security and its existence as a Democratic Western nation. Australia might be conquered by China in another 10-15 years, its not paranoia, the Chinese are buying the country left and right, and are a major force in the country's economic health.

With the right pay and accommodation, fill me in for that ride.

Australia's economic health has been credited mostly due to Asian economic growth, China in particular. In the late 1990's up until 2003 the Australian Dollar fell sharply in value because of the Asian currency crisis. For now in the long run, Asia is going on a big roll upward, the Australians have become more pro Asian ever since.
