I don’t think he thought that one through. People will use name searches to find one another and handle their issues the wrong way. Or it could create a new problem internet stocking. Someone will end up getting killed or raped if this goes through.

Well there is hope.....

Pen names or anonymous names, it’s a centuries old tradition in American newspapers. Ask Benjamin Franklin, aka Silence Dogood. In his times it was newspapers, technologies change, but in principle it is the same practice that should be protected under the First Ammendment. Please moderators, do not censor the names in the quoted case since it is an adequate legal case reference of public knowledge and interest. Quote:

of all the OTHER important things that needs to be dont in this country, i dont know how they have time to even thinking about all this...
they need to fix the economy first... take care of these gas prices.... and when they are done fixing all of those things then they can spend their time doing other useless stuff... If this person T.C is so concerned about people posting with their real names then he should create a website and have people post with their REAL names.... leave everyone else out of it... it's like a lawyer telling a shoes sales person how to sell shoes....

Please, they need to think twice. That stuff had people calling my house phone before. All they need to do is run a search using your ID and whatnot.
