to back a repub in this day and age is completely illogical to me. they have run the economy into the ground and made us a joke internationally. don't be afraid to vote dem, voting by party lines is the dumbest thing in the world. vote for who can lead the country the best!

Election...

Obama is a sheep in wolves clothing with the third most liberal voting record in congress. So AmericanIMG thinks Republicans have run the economy in the ground? Your beloved dems have been in control of congress since the beginning of 2007 and not much (uhum, excuse me) nothing to show for it. Reagan put this country back on track and we need another Reagnomics Republican to make it happen again. Keep voting democrat when you are in health care and watch your salary dwindle as well.

AmericanIMG doesn't have to think Republicans have run the economy into the ground, it is a fact! 6 years of Republicans House,Senate, President has more than doubled the deficit and we are borrowing money from China to fund this spending. We had an irresponsible tax cut, the first tax cut at a time of a war in US history. The incredible record deficits have devalued the dollar to record lows. Spending has grown by 22% while revenue has grown 7%. We had Reagonomcs round two already, it was Bush. Trickle down didn't work in the 80's and didn't work this time either. Btw, you do realize the Republicans have been the ones decreasing reimbursements by medicare and medicaid. Did you see Bush's proposed budget for next year, another cut in reimbursements to hospitals and physicians.

"Reagan put this country back on track and we need another Reagnomics Republican"

Really? What year you were born? Are you relying on your history books or you actually lived through the Reagan disaster like I had to through my college years? Trust me, i don't have fond memories of those years, music being the exception. I have to concede this time has been much worse.

So I am supposed to say touche...you got me. Well my friend, The cuts to health care began with Clinton and Bush is only appeal to Ted Kennedy by cutting a few dollars from Medicare. I think the idea of personal accounts for hard workers to set aside money for their own health care is the answer. Do you want to rely on Medicare for your profit in health care? You're probably Canadian anyway blabbering like Neil Young about how much you hate our country. I only assumed you were since you assumed I did not live through the prosperity this country experienced with Reagan.

So you are depending on people not having insurance and to utilize a health savings account. You do realize that personal savings in this country is at a record low and decreases every year. So if people don't save their money now, what makes you think they will change and suddenly start saving. To build a health savings accounts you have to have discretionary income, if you have that discretionary income you aren't the people that don't have health care. Health savings account amount to self pay, which hospitals call no pay if you have ever worked in an ER. Btw, if you are in medicine for money you are in the wrong field. You should have got an MBA.

The prosperity? Do you know what inflation was? What interest rates were? The rich got richer on the back of the working people, only those with no economic knowledge believe in trickle down or people that want to line their own pockets and those of their fat cat friends. Republicon conservatives laugh at the working class for voting against their own economic interests and just count the dollars they made b/c of this ignorance.
