not really. it is extremely early in the game. yes, it is negative for the democrats...... but i think it would have been worse if this happened in october when he would have endorsed a candidate and have been actively campaigning with them.

what a disaster this would have been for democrats if this came out in october and he was the vice-presidential nominee. ive heard rumors a few months ago that he was going to be on a short list of potential VP's for obama and clinton.

mr obama, are these "just words" too?
Obama and the Minister - WSJ.com

i cant wait until the general election starts up so the truth can get out about obama. you dont associate with someone like that. this is as if mccain associated with a white supremacy leader and called him a "big uncle."

i cannot wait until the swift boating of this obama phenomenom take place. in cases like this, it really shouldnt even be called swift boating. who your close friends and advisors are tell a lot about your own character. this guy is crazy and he has obamas ear, or even worse, obama secretely agrees with him.

in other news yesterday, the wonderful democrats just raised taxes on the middle class (anyone making more than $31,850) by about $2,300. i dont know about anybody else, but making 32K a year is not rich. i guess the democrat's talking points about the republicans only giving tax breaks for the rich has as much meaning as the democrats only tax the poor. the truth is the republicans want to give tax breaks to "everyone" who pays taxes and the democrats want to increase taxes on "everyone" who pays them. clinton and obama voted for the tax increase with mccain voting against it. i guess its a prequel of whats to come if the dems are in office. bring on the nanny state.

then we all wonder, why do they do this? well, they also voted against mccains plan to eliminate all earmarks from the bill. well, that went down in flying colors (although mccain couldnt even get some republicans on board ).

Talking

I'm disgusted with the middle-class tax increase for their pet projects. They wouldn't give up their stupid pork-spending earmarked money like mccain suggested that lawmakers do.

I hate high taxes for supporting the nanny state. People need to go out and work with a good education rather than doing the bare minimum to get by.

Ok, so look you mean to tell me everyone that you hang out with you share their views entirely? Or do you share a portion of them? A good part of them, but not all of them? Why can't this be the case with Obama? The truth hurts America is not as INNOCENT as we like to think, and it for darn sure isn't as fair to all as we would like to think. Does racism still exist, unfortunatly yes! It is very sad to say but it is still here in ALL walks of like!

Obama is yes exactly what he is...a politician! WHen it comes to political business you just have to pick the lesser of two evils! I read the article that you posted, intersting I must say, but the link between McCain and white supremacy a little extreme don't you think? The KKK bestowed fear and violence amongst a community alomng with unjust law, someone stating their experience on the other side of the tracks here in America no way compares with bombing churches, burning crosses, and lynching people because the color of their skin.

We've got more black men in prison than there are in college," he began. "Racism is alive and well. Racism is how this country was founded

This is a clip from your posting and whats sad about it is that it is very true! Have we came along way since the civil rights movement-yes, but do we still have far to go-yes! I am going to end my post here because I really don't like talking about racial issues over the internet, I prefer to do them in person, because its such a touchy issue and words can be misinterrpreted. Your swiftboating that you call it, don't act like McCain is INNOCENT too! He's just what Obama is a POLITICIAN! I applaud this man's OPINION in the wall street journal's opinion section but it is exactly what it is an opinion. Just like mine is!

--excuse the typos I'm at work and trying to type super fast no time for editing, please forgive me.

WOW! is that what its coming to huh? Yes people do need to go out and work, but lets not start making absolutes! You DONT KNOW everyones' story so you can't go around saying that everyone who does the bare minimum to get by is doing it because they want to! Good education?....what?! I have been blessed with opportunity to pursue my education and obtain several degrees along the way, but not everyone is blessed with that same opportunity. So to pass the judgement that only those who are educated are hard workers and they do more then the "bare minimum" is a little far fetched don't you think?

John Hagee's McCain Endorsement Sparks Uproar - Politics on The Huffington Post

Scott1981 check your boy McCain and his dealing with Hagee....not so different than Obama huh?

"The item was introduced with the sentence 'Slavery in America is returning to Cornerstone" and ended with "Make plans to come and go home with a slave." [San Antonio Express-News 3/7/96]

Here is a piece from my posting from Hagee views who McCain is also linked with.....so.....how is this any different then Obama? I guess your white supremacy link with McCain was correct.
