Kind of a controversial figure, held some radical beliefs which I do not sympathize with.

So Do you think Fischer had any chance against Kasparov?

didn't he beat kasparov, and then disappear for a number of years? they even made a movie about it, the search for bobby fischer. good flick by the way.
he was somewhat of a recluse, didn't integrate well into society. they say people with IQs in the 120-140s are the doctors and lawyers in the world. they are reasonably intelligent people, but when you get up into the IQ of 150-160 (Stephen Hawking level, the wheel chaired bound physicist / genius who has ALS), can still reasonably get along with people in society, despite how smart they are. when you are at the IQ level of 160-170 (Bobby Fischer), you don't integrate very well. Imagine a world where your intelligence is so many standard deviations above the mean... everyone would seem like a retard to you. Psychologically these people feel very alone in this world. There was one guy I was reading about who probably had an IQ of 200+... he was fluent in 40 languages, could solve elaborate crossword puzzles in minutes, amazing stuff. He died a very lonely person. Interesting stuff. Most of us, even with huge USMLE scores, and great mental ability are still only masters of trivia.

WCB can you put it in line so is better to read
Interesting data. The movie you saw about in search of boy Fischer was actually about another young player from NY his last name start with a w I think. I think his first name was Josh or something similar. Fischer and Kasparov never played for what I remember. In a conference Kasparov said he was not going to waste his time playing against dinosaurs.
