Get AVG free version it has worked for me for years, get C CLEANER it gets rid of all junk in the hard drive, get spybot search and destroy very good for trojans and addware, and last but not least HIJACK THIS (quite complicated to use, but if you follow the instructions carefully it should be a breeze). Those are my standard weapons and I have been virus free since 2004. Best of them....they are all FREE.

Yuup

Thanks for usefull information i also in need of good antivirus but i have one question also that at the time of uninstalltion will it need any password or patch?...

Don't neglect spyware, as Gen Max alluded to. You need a couple different spyware scanners. AVG has a free one, Spybot Search and Destroy is the best in my opinion, and Microsoft has a free one call Defender...as long as you have a legit copy of windows. If you don't find anything with the virus scanner and are having some problems, you may have a trojan or a ton of spyware. G
