who cares if they graduate from US schools?
why would it bother you? their lives are NOT your life.

be careful, speak to someone before you mess up things with your own education.

also, what graduation occurs in November/December? is this a real post?

I am not graduating now, its just that I have spent my life trying to
get into a particular place, and then just seeing them finish up hurts bad.

well in the end when you are all doctors, it won't matter that much. if you wanted this bad enough to come down here, i'm sure you've had to face much worse adversity than what other people think of you.

to me, it never bothered me that much what other people are doing, but if it does to you maybe you should get some help as others have suggested here.

in 5 years who will be an MD and who won't? oh thats right you BOTH will be MDs.
think about all the physicians you have interacted with. how many have you asked where they went to med school? how many average americans will ask that?
you are getting upset because your PEERS are graduating. be happy for them, and happy for yourself that you will be joining them soon! they aren't any better then you, at the end of the day you are PEERS.

good luck!~

stop worrying about what is happening to others, they'll live their lives, you have to live yours. so you messed up in undergrad, and going to a caribb school now. ok, get it together, bust your butt for a few years, and you will end up getting to the same point as your friends are now. everyone takes different paths to get to a certain place. yours was this path. that's that. it's no big deal.

I would be too, if I didn't know my board score was better than most US med students' and could've been better had I not finished the test in half the time. Cheers.

You can't change time, neither can any of us. You learned a lesson now you should focus on what you have on hand, not what it could have been in order to finish your medical education and compete like anyone else. We can't live a life based on "what if's", we have to deal with what we have on hand and make the best out of it.

As SOE wrote: smoke 'em on Step 1. One of our students has a brother at GWU and one at Ross. Guess who got the best score? I'll give you three guesses and the first two don't count.
