A lot of military technologies have been modified into civilian uses, look at the internet. An exoskeleton could have a ton of new uses. Construction of mega skyscrapers could be one, maybe a suit that could make high altitude construction work safer. For med students, you could use that exo suit to carry all your heavy books to your lecture of the library.
