yes, i kno a wide and varied liberal education and everything is important, but you don't understand. The most embarrassing movement in my life was 8th grade us history. My teacher was talking about the 60's and 70's. And some how she started talking about the Beatles (and i had no clue who they were). Then she starts talking about John Lennon. And finally I got sick of listening to her and not understanding, so I raise my hand and ask her.....
"Who's John Lennon?"

and she looked at me like i grew a second head. Then the whole class starts laughing and I wanted to die on the spot.

same, but it's really hard to mesh with premed classes. So i'm thinking sociology, humanities, or biotech. But I just love reading about people!!!!

No it's not. In fact, I wish I did that. Just took the premed courses, gotten straight A's in my history classes. Had a high GPA, sigh..

Hey never feel bad for not knowing something, I still do not know a lot of things and you might have a better grammar than mine. If you have not notice English is my second language, and I make many oop, but always there are nice people to teach you the proper way.
I think that if my teacher read this post he might be a little happy, about my progress in English.
So do not worry
I thought you were much younger than 17.

really, ru sure it wouldn't be hard to mesh. I tried to figure it out and it was really hard. The closest I could hit was sociology, which gives you people skills for future.

oh come on mate. Not knowing about John Lennon is not even in the same league as grammer mistakes, but I see your point. The worst is American slang!!!

If you think I'm younger now, in person you'd think I was 10 probably. Being 5"1 in high school surrounded by 250 pounder football players and others is a trying experience everyday.

I remember when I said to one of my students that was not fair for me to give an A to someone that was the weekend in a concert with tupa compare to the person that stay home and study.
The entire class LAUGH and said Doc, Tupac have been dead for years.

True story.
