Cheney's comments were pre 9-11 regardless, the US needs to have a strong military presence in the Middle East. Iran should have been invaded not Iraq. Regardless the chain of events was predicted years ago, a King of the South is emerging.

No, the King of the South is Iran, I thought this Church guy who writes the Philadelphia Trumpet was full of it, back in 2002 he predicted the war in Iraq was going to fail and he pointed to Iran. Well in 2007, look which country is responsible for the insurgency? Its Iran, and the US government is now negotiating with the country for control of Iraq.

Iran is responsible for the insurgency? What about the 190,000 weapons that the US lost? I'm sure that lead to a few killings.. and what about the beautiful Shi'ite historic sites that are being destroyed in Iraq? Do you think Iran is responsible for that too? If you do, you have very limited understanding of the region. Why is American presence in the region so important? Because they tried to kill us? My question to you is how many American lives is this all worth? 5? 500? 5000? |
