Status of Dean
It is a hurricane now (1 pm CST) and will be near category 2 by the time it reaches the islands. On its present tract the center should pass near if not directly over Roseau. Still it is a ways out and the track could vary a little, but probably not very much.

Dean headed west
Dean has all but pasted through the Antilles but he continues to grow in strength. Unfortunately Dean is now headed for Jamaica and the Cayman's. It will be close to a category five hurricane as it approaches the Cayman Islands. Lets hope that the people at SMU get through this as well as those of you who were in the Antilles.

Cayman problems and then Belize
The main storm has passed the Caymens. Information on damage is minimal at this time but damage should be far less than originally expected. Dean is now headed on a course that will put him over or just south of Chetumal Mexico. This means that all of the schools in Belize are in some danger. Especially the one in Co****l Town, Belize. However, those at MUA Belize, Global, Hope and CAHSU should monitor and be prepared for the storm.
