I never supported Bush, but I have not supported the Democrats. Dude seriously improve your grammer otherwise the Chinese are laughing at you. My other queston is what do you think of China towns in the US, what is your opinion.

If that was intended as a sarcastic literary parody of GeorgeMD2B's style it wasn't bad at all and possibly a first on VMD: Grammerians (sic), otherwise are laughing.
Actually I couldn't see that george's wording was exactly ungrammatical - clumsy or inelegant, maybe.
Anyway, lest I get a warning to "stay on topic", George's interesting mixture of tenses will keep those very clever and ambitious folk in China and India amused and busy: they have an insatiable appetite for English language studies and in the case of the Indians have already demonstrated great literary aptitude in the English medium. Expect to see 5-year-old Punjabi M.D.'s correcting our English usage and abusage in the near future.

I'm not sure about that. I found China to be a pleasent experience, and Shanghai made my eyes water at the sheer scale of development that is occurring there. However, I dount any Asian country could be a leader of the coming century, the culture is simply not developed enough to embrace such a role of leadership and responsibility. Petty differences still prove pivotol in decision making processes

u can pick the BIG cities and the tourist areas, but if you have traveled China in detail, or India in detail then you know that the idea that they are passing the US is ridiculous.

If anything, I can see China heading towards some massive problems as their pace of economic development far outpaces everything else. Corruption, little care for planning, etc.

This is the place to make the big bucks, like when the internet market took us by surprise, and get out before it explodes.
Fast economic dev like that always holds something that you never expected. I hope china is not the next best thing to take a hike too.
I just love their cheap stuff tough!
Gracias ebay

I've spent 3/4 weeks travelling China, and been to virtually all the big cities and west into Tibet, and I've got some experience in India too so I think I can comment pretty well. I never said all of China/India was good, far from it. Any country can create a showpiece city which is 20 years ahead of the rest of the country, it's simply not representative. Look at Dubai and the UAE, people are living in self-made homes 10 minutes drive from the most expensive development in history.

Currently I'm in Japan for 4 weeks, and I must say this is an amazing experience. I'd say it's the most civilised country I've been to. Just stay away from Roppongi in Tokyo!

been to china, india, japan, thailand, taiwan...all are pathetic excuses for countries. the ultra rich live in the cities and in their shadows live the poor, so poor that they make America's ghettos look like paradise.
