Puerto Rico Revalide

Some of my fellow classmates ( from Puerto Rico) are under the impression that, if they take revalida and complete residency in Puerto Rico, then they can practice in FL ( and only FL) with out USMLE and ECFMG certification.
Is this true?

no they can get the state license from michigan and some others states.

Also they can go and work for the indian health service and they will accept the license without any USMLE or ECFMG

Ok

So this means a student who goes to a dominican school, and does revalida, and residency in PR can do this?
OR
ONLY students whom went to Puerto rican medical schools (LCME) and did residency, etc.........

Thanks

found something

Physician - Doctor License Service, MedLicense.com licensing physicians seeking a Puerto Rico Medical license with the Puerto Rico Medical Board

But I think it only applies to people who studied in Puerto Rican medical schools (LCME).

I personally know people that went to UCE then did the revalida and then did the residencia.

today they work here in the USA with the indian health service and with bureu of prisions, but the bureu of prisions are getting a little harder to get in.

They only did the revalida
Good website

why are you getting offended

Your information is in error. However I hope this is true, unfortunately it is not. I just got an mail from my cousin who is a general surgeon in PR.

I MUST add. I was just looking for information, don't start bashing, and doing what you guys always do.

I expect a certain level of maturity.

yes I did post that!

A Puerto Rican doctor as defined by the licencing boards of those three states is " a person who went to any one of the LCME medical schools in PR, and did residency in PR".

If any one of the student just READS the webpage it will be clear.
