Which would you think is harder MCAT or USMLE 1 ?

MCAT is much harder then USMLE and everyone i asked told me , mcat is an aptitude test, wether USMLE was a recall and recognition test.

My thought was opposite. USMLE was harder for me than MCAT was. And my USMLE was integration and application much more than recall.

I haven't taken step I but I can tell you that Mcat is hard.

no, but I've taken the mcat, and I'm not saying it was easy, but I definitely would not consider it to be 'hard' either.

Yes I have taken both. To me the MCAT was a cake walk beside the USMLE.

if it wasnt hard you wouldnt be here...

both exams are difficult, but hands down the step1 is a more difficult exam. 350Qs, 8hrs, high pressure, a ton of material...having just taken it i can tell you that it is ridiculous.

the mcat is not the only factor that determines where one goes to medical school, and doing well on it does not necessarily guarantee admission into an American medical school. I recently took it this past August and did not find it to be too challenging, but we'll see.. scores get released in October.
