this might get interesting. st. matts was not approved by the CA inspection team. saba was approved. i wonder with this revelation, are there any other under the table deals going on? any payoffs going on? what things are going on, that no one else knows about?
i'm being totally hypothetical here, so I'M NOT spreading a rumor, but what if the CA inspection team was paid some amount of money to ensure the approval happened. if i remember correctly, only 4 people came over for the inspection. not a lot of people we are talking about here, and when dealing with approval and licensure issues, we are not dealing with some huge monsterous board of medical examiners, you are dealing with a few people. also, what if AAIMG (posing a negative look on st. matts) had anything to do with their image in the eyes of CA? even if saba even so much as SHOWED CA, "by the way, take a look at this site, this is an independent group based out of NV, blah blah blah", during their inspection/approval process. most likely, no such thing happened, but who knows. anyway, it would be interesting IF CA was implicated at all in some under the table deal, what that would spell out for CA. it would discredit their entire list, thus leading to other states not using the CA list anymore. if it's not trustworthy. i know it's a huge spinoff, but i always wondered why st. matts was not approved. all i know is, thank goodness st. matts is big enough (and has enough angry students about the whole CA issue) that IF there truely was an injustice, and it could be proven, things could get interesting with CA.

What is even more interesting is that the AAIMG is recognised by AMSA and supported by them.
Also Medical students in the US use the AAIMG to say "See the Caribbean schools are terrible" A post just last week.

I don't know how to find legal documents, can anyone find the transript of the details of the SMU v. AAIMG case in nevada? I really hope the courts make a BIG deal out of this.

i can't believe this, but apparently there is a lawsuit going on with St Matthews vs. the president of Saba Med. Univ and his wife. the lawsuit states that Dr. F (the president of Saba) is linked to AAIMG, the website that bashes SMU and other Carib schools. what is exactly going on here???

What would Dr. F stand to gain by bashing SMU?? Nothing. Saba and MUA are bursting at the seams with applicants, as is SMU. There will always be applicants to both schools. Maybe someone is jelous??
