What are some good medical training related books?
There must be something out there like "From the Eyes of the Intern" or "Residents!" or some such.
I need to spend this Borders gift certificate...

I recommend "Complications: A Surgeon's Notes on an Imperfect Science" by Atul Gawande. In it, he recounts some of his experiences as a resident, reveals some interesting lessons he learned along the way, and provides insights regarding medical training and the medical profession in general. It's an easy read, and it got me hooked right from the first page...
Happy Reading!

If you get a warning, put on yer manpants and stop whining about it.
I definetly agree with the suggestion of the book ´´Complications´´, I thought it was a fun book to read and it gives a very realistic view of life as a resident in any postgraguate training!
I also like the books by Oliver Sacks....´´The man who mistook his wife for a hat and other clinical tales¨¨---but I like almost all of his books!!!!![]()
