i was thinking argentina, from the beginning. but after their performance against mexico, i'm not so sure (they were just having a bad day i guess). on most days, i'd say argentina would be able to beat germany, but germany on german soil, hmmmmmm, they might take it, just like they did last time they hosted the world cup.

brazil looks way too good, and they have tricks up their sleeve that no one has seen. brazil is the obvious favorite going in, but i think if argentina beats germany, they just might take the whole thing.

Germany's home advantage makes up for a team which is nothing more than ordinary. They've got stand out players in the form of Ballack, Lahm, Schweinsteiger but the rets of the team is very average.

Argentina and Brazil are very similar in terms of ability, but Argentina tend to have a greater work ethic on the pitch so they will always be there or there abouts, while Brazil can play too much of an individual game at times, so they can be beaten by quite a few teams.

i REALLY like the team from the ivory coast, they must be dominating the world cup!!! the team from tunisia is a close 2nd. i am not counting the US because we all know they are the best team ever.
